Jordan Charles Spencer was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on July 30, 2014, and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, bond set at $50,000. Spencer was arrested and charged by the Terrell Police Department. He was admitted at 2:43 p.m. Spencer is described as a white male, with brown eyes and brown hair, standing 6′ tall and weighing 145 pounds. His date of birth is November 8, 1993.
According to his facebook page, this 20 year old lives in Forney and attended Forney High School.
How does a 20 year old get to not only be a felon, but serve time in prison, get released, and get re-arrested before his 21st birthday? On July 15, 2011, when 17 years of age, Spencer was charged in Kaufman County with: two counts of engaging in criminal activity; burglary of a habitation; burglary of a building; unauthorized use of a vehicle; theft over $1500 and less than $20,000; tampering with a government record; and fraudulent use or possession of between 5 and 10 items of identifying information.
On January 12, 2012, he was given a huge break and was given deferred adjudication (not a conviction) and placed on 3 years of community supervision, ordered to serve 160 hours of community service, and assessed $500 fine, $347 court costs, and $900 in restitution to a victim. This was for ONE count of engaging in criminal activity, all other charges were dropped.
On March 22, 2012, not even three months later, Spencer was re-arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. These cases were subsequently filed as robbery on April 20, 2012. Spencer entered pleas of guilty to the robbery charges on September 20, 2012, and was sentenced to four years in prison. On the same day, a final conviction was entered in the engaging in organized criminal activity case and Spencer was also sentenced to four years in prison on that case.
It could not be determined exactly when he was released from prison but he likely served less than a year. Court records from 2012 show a Summerhaven address.
