Ray Emmett Madden Jr was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on June 5, 2015, at 8:16 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Police Department and charged with: burglary of a habitation intend other felony, bond set at $350,000; engaging in organized criminal activity, bond set at $350,000; and criminal mischief in the amount of $50 or more but less than $500, bond set at $5000. Madden is described as a black male, date of birth November 8, 1981, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5’ 5” tall and weighing 175 pounds.
Madden, from Forney, was arrested with Darius Franchot Madden from Mesquite, and Larry Eugene Ranson III from Dallas following an attempted home invasion burglary in Forney on June 3, 2015. The occupant of the residence was discovered tied up in the home. Two of the suspects fled the area but were later arrested about a mile away in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant.
Madden currently has a class “A” misdemeanor violation of a protective order case pending in Kaufman County but no other prior criminal charges.
In Dallas County, Madden is currently on a $15,000 bond for the felony charge of assault family violence impeding breath or circulation, and also on bond for the misdemeanor charges of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Also in Dallas County, Madden received 6 years deferred adjudication probation on December 30, 1999, for the felony offenses of delivery of a controlled substance under 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Those cases were dismissed on December 30, 2005, following his successful completion of probation. Madden also received 60 days in jail in 2001 for evading arrest or detention but was continued on his probation after serving that sentence.
