Shamika Shade Jackson was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on September 30, 2015, at 12:10 p.m. She was arrested by the Forney Police Department on a charges of: possession of a prohibited substance or item in correctional facility, bond set at $20,000, and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, bond set at $10,000. Jackson also has two holds for Mesquite Police Department with bonds set in the amount of $492.83 and $613.60. Jackson is described as a black female, date of birth December 9, 1988, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5′ 4″ tall and weighing 130 pounds.
Jackson was arrested by Forney PD Tuesday night, September 29, after she initially failed to stop for a routine traffic stop. Following her arrest for that offense and for the warrants from Mesquite, Jackson was found to be in possession of marijuana while being booked into jail.
Jackson has been previously convicted in Rockwall County on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument and served time in state jail for that offense. No prior criminal offenses could be found for Jackson in Kaufman County.
