Hien Thanh Huynh arrested by Forney Police Department

Hien Thanh HuynhHien Thanh Huynh was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on December 10, 2015, at 10:29 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on a charge of driving while intoxicated 3rd or more. Bond is set at $50,000. Huynh is described as an asian male, date of birth May 15, 1973, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5’ 9” tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Huynh was arrested by Forney PD at 12:50 a.m. on the south service road at the Gateway Bridge on December 10, 2015, following a report of a reckless driver on 548. He was driving a 2012 Maserati coupe which was subsequently towed from the scene. Court records indicate Huynh lives in Dallas.

On October 16, 2011, Huynh was arrested by Irving PD on a charge of driving while intoxicated. While on bond for that charge, Huynh was again arrested on December 25, 2011, by Dallas PD on a charge of driving while intoxicated. On July 21, 2014, Huynh was arrested by Mesquite PD and again charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

On November 25, 2014, Huynh entered a plea of guilty to each of the three charges, which were all considered first dwi’s as he was not yet convicted of any at the time of the offenses. Huynh was sentenced to 90 days in each in each of the first two cases and 120 days in jail on the third case. He was given credit for 129 days served and his driver’s license was suspended for 365 days. Huynh was also convicted on a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon, which was reduced from a felony possession of a firearm by a felon, and sentenced to 30 days in jail and given credit for time served.

Huynh was also arrested on March 1, 2013, and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. On May 16, 2014, that charge was reduced to misdemeanor assault and Huynh was placed on unsupervised deferred adjudication probation for a period of 90 days. On August 18, 2014, that case was dismissed with no finding of guilt after Huynh successfully completed probation.
