Larry Virgil was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on April 6, 2016, at 4:20 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Department on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond is set at $50,000. Virgil is described as a black male, date of birth September 19, 1966, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5’ 9” tall and weighing 190 pounds.
Virgil was arrested following a report of an assault of a resident on Stone Street in Forney. While he was no longer at the location at the time of the report, Forney PD was able to track him down and arrest him in fairly short order.
In Dallas County, Virgil previously entered a plea of guilty to two charges of insurance claim fraud on December 11, 2000. He was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation in each case and ordered to pay $26,290.00 restitution and a $2000 fine in one case and to pay $6659.73 restitution in the other case. Both cases were subsequently dismissed after Virgil completed the terms of probation.
In Kaufman County, a previous aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge against Virgil was dismissed on November 8, 2010, “in the interest of justice.”
