Brenda Lynn Wilkins arrested by Forney Police Department

Brenda Lynn WilkinsBrenda Lynn Wilkins was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on June 9, 2016, at 11:46 p.m. She was arrested by the Forney Police Department on charges of: driving while intoxicated 3rd or more; possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams; and assault of a public servant. Bond is set at $20,000 in each case. Wilkins is described as a white female, date of birth October 3, 1977, with hazel eyes and brown hair, standing 5′ 2″ tall and weighing 135 pounds.

Wilkins was arrested by Forney PD on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, after her vehicle struck a guardrail on eastbound Highway 80 on the FM 548 bridge in Forney.

Wilkins previously entered a plea of guilty (as Brenda Lynn Eddins) to a charge of driving while intoxicated in Collin County on May 6, 2011, and received probation on that charge. A charge of resisting arrest, search or transport was also dismissed on the same date. On September 2, 2011, her probation was revoked and she was sentenced to 35 days in jail.

Also in Collin County, Wilkins (again as Brenda Lynn Eddins) entered a plea of guilty to the offense of injury to a child, elderly, or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury on December 15, 2011, and again received probation. On December 16, 2013, that probation was also revoked and Wilkins was ordered to serve 2 years in the Texas Department of Corrections.
