Larry Johnson Jr was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on November 18, 2014, at 10:26 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Police Department and charged with evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, bond set at $10,000. Johnson also has a hold for the FBI and is being held without bond on that charge. Johnson is described as a black male, date of birth July 15, 1976, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5’ 9” tall and weighing 175 pounds.
This is the man who led the Forney PD on a pursuit around midnight Monday, November 17, 2014. Officers originally stopped Johnson on Broad Street in downtown Forney. It was subsequently learned Johnson had an outstanding warrant from the FBI for failing to appear on a federal fraud charge in the Chicago area. After an officer asked Johnson to exit the vehicle, Johnson instead took off and the low speed pursuit through downtown Forney began. During the incident, Johnson allowed a female to exit the vehicle. Johnson subsequently got on eastbound 80 and exited on FM 548 where he stopped his vehicle on the service road and surrendered. Johnson’s id indicated he is from Huntley, Illinois.
