Matthew McNair arrested by Kaufman Police Department

Matthew McNairMatthew McNair was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on November 12, 2014, at 6:58 a.m. He was arrested by the Kaufman Police Department and charged with: possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of less than one gram, bond set at $6000; possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 in an amount of less than 28 grams, bond set at $3000; possession of marijuana in an amount of less than 2 ounces, bond set at $750; and also has a hold for Gun Barrel City PD, bond set at $234. McNair is described as a white male, date of birth December 19, 1985, with green eyes and brown hair, standing 5′ 6″ tall and weighing 140 pounds.

According to his Facebook profile, he lives in Gun Barrel City and is from Mabank. No previous criminal history was located in Kaufman County.

McNair was just placed on 8 years deferred adjudication probation in Henderson County on October 20, 2014, for the offense of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams. He has also been previously charged in Henderson County with possession of marijuana under 2 ounces and convicted of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 in an amount of less than 28 grams. McNair was arrested in Henderson County in 2012 for two charges of receiving a stolen firearm.
