Matthew Scott McLain arrested by Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department

Matthew Scott McLainMatthew Scott McLain was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on November 15, 2014, at 11:15 p.m. He was arrested by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department and charged with criminal mischief in an amount of $500 or more but less than $1500. Bond is set at $1500. McLain is described as a white male, date of birth June 6, 1993, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5′ 10″ tall and weighing 135 pounds.

Matthew Scott McLainMcLain was previously charged in Kaufman County with criminal trespass and resisting arrest, search, or transport. McLain’s attorney filed a motion “suggesting incompetency and request for examination” and, on April 17, 2014, the court entered an order “for examination regarding incompetency”. Those charges were then dismissed “in the interest of justice” on May 21, 2014.

The current charge of criminal mischief is alleged to have occurred on March 20, 2014, during McLain’s incarceration in the Kaufman County Jail for the previous charges.
