Christopher Lynn Herrin arrested by Forney Police Department

Christopher Lynn HerrinChristopher Lynn Herrin was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on December 17, 2015, at 1:05 p.m. He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on charges of: possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams, bond set at $10,000, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle or watercraft, bond set at $5000, and unlawful carrying of a weapon, bond set at $1500. Herrin is described as a white male, date of birth January 1, 1986, with brown eyes and black hair, standing 5′ 10″ tall and weighing 155 pounds.

Herrin was arrested on December 16, 2015, by Forney PD after leading Forney police on a high speed chase on a motorcycle when he failed to yield for a traffic stop. The chase reached speeds in excess of 130 mph, encompassed 3 counties, lasted almost an hour, and involved multiple law enforcement agencies. Herrin subsequently ran out of gas and attempted to flee the scene on foot prior to his arrest.
