Jeremy Vann Nichols arrested by Forney Police Department

Jeremy Vann NicholsJeremy Vann Nichols was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on February 17, 2017, at 7:26 p.m.  He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on charges of: manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of four grams or more but less than 200 grams, bond set at $350,000 and resisting arrest, search, or transport, bond set at $10,000. Nichols is described as a white male, date of birth July 14, 1987, with blue eyes and blonde hair, standing 5’ 9” tall and weighing 150 pounds.

Nichols was arrested following a traffic stop Thursday night, February 16, 2017. During the traffic stop, an altercation with the Forney police department officer ensued which resulted in Nichols being tazed. Also arrested was Jeffrey Cole Ferguson.

Nichols has many prior arrests and convictions from everywhere from Rockwall to Mount Pleasant to Greenville to Hunt County, including charges of burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building, criminal mischief $1500-$20,000, failure to identify giving false information, several possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance in penalty group 3, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, failure to identify as fugitive from justice, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2-A, evading arrest or detention, theft of property $500-$1500, and has had multiple sentences in county jails and at least 2 trips to Texas Department of Criminal Justice (state jail or prison).

According to his Facebook profile, Nichols is from Greenville and even posted his own mug shot from a previous arrest on his page. Also, he has his own band, The Jeremy Nichols Band, so that’s cool.
