Michael Lynn McCarty arrested by Forney Police Department

February 09, 2018
Michael Lynn McCartyMichael Lynn McCarty was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on February 8, 2018, at 1:06 p.m.  He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on charges of: manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of 200 grams or more but less than 400 grams, bond set at $350,000; possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 in an amount of less than one gram, bond set at $25,000; possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 3 in an amount of less than 28 grams, bond set at $7500; and theft of property in the amount of less than $2500 with two or more previous convictions, bond set at $25,000. McCarty is described as a white male, date of birth April 21, 1980, with brown eyes and brown hair, standing 5’ 4” tall, and weighing 120 pounds. McCarty was arrested on February 7, 2018, following a report of theft from Walmart. It’s not even feasible to begin to document his prior arrests and convictions here. From aggravated sexual assault of a child to theft of farm equipment and a multitude of drug possessions, he has apparently been arrested for most everything in many jurisdictions. Suffice it to say, he is a career criminal and not doing a very good job at his chosen profession. Several Facebook profiles indicate he attended Terrell High School and may live in Wills Point.
