Jeffrey Cole Ferguson arrested by Forney Police Department

Jeffrey Cole FergusonJeffrey Cole Ferguson was booked into the Kaufman County Jail on February 17, 2017, at 6:24 p.m.  He was arrested by the Forney Police Department on charges of: failure to identify as fugitive, intentionally give false information, bond set at $10,000. Ferguson also had existing warrants out of: Kaufman County for stealing or receiving a stolen check, bond set at $10,000; Camp County for evading arrest or detention, bond set at $1,500; and Rockwall County for theft of property in an amount of $100 or more but less than $750, bond set at $750. Ferguson is described as a white male, date of birth February 21, 1991, with hazel eyes and brown hair, standing 5’ 8” tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Ferguson was arrested with Jeffrey Vann Nichols following a traffic stop Thursday night, February 16, 2017. Ferguson provided a false name and date of birth when questioned by the Forney police department officer (it sounded like it may have been his brother’s identification information). Also, during the traffic stop, an altercation with the Forney officer ensued which resulted in Nichols being tazed.

Ferguson has prior arrests or convictions for burglary of a habitation, criminal trespass, forgery of a financial instrument, and has also been sentenced at least twice to time in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (state jail or prison).
